One for the collectors here ! From what I can find out this was made 100 years ago (1923) and last produced in 1936
I can imagine countless numbers of young Americans having one of these for their first rifle
Fitted with the correct optional exta peep sight
Tube magazine & pump action fed
Will take 22 Short as well as 22LR
I think it holds 12 shorts or 10 22lr
Overview
The Remington Model 12A is a slide-action, solid-breech, hammerless, takedown, side-ejection rifle. This gun, designed by J. D. Pederson, was introduced in 1909 and produced through to 1936. During the 37-year period, there were 820,759 guns sold.
According to Gunbroker dot com this was the top selling pump action rifle of 2019 not bad for a gun no longer in production and last produced in 1936
Used but in generally good condition with some marks to be expected comensurate with age !
